Responsibilities

Support Skydio customers with our self-hosted products
Assist the customer in planning and writing integrations between their internal systems and our drone management software
Debug and troubleshoot outages, wherever and whenever they occur
Build out our on-prem lab in California, including organizing the hardware, building trial-and-evaluation flyaway kits, and testing
Be a key member of the product team, informing the form factors and menu of options for our on-prem offerings

Required

4+ years experience with Linux system administration, including host configuration, patching, networking, and debugging typical system health issues
Experience with building and racking servers. Mostly applicable to our in-house lab
Coding experience: working knowledge of REST APIs or similar API boundaries and experience working with customers to implement and test integrations (basic scripting, testing, documentation)
Comfortable communicating directly with customers
US Person required for working at US government facilities
Ability to travel 40% of the time
Ability to acquire Part 107 certificate (for flying UAS)

Preferred

Experience in areas such as Mapping, Surveying, Photogrammetry in the Utilities or Public Safety industries
Experience working with physical systems, such as building your own drones or maintaining other IOT devices
Experience with corporate firewalls, such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, or Meraki
