Responsibilities

Lead EMI design, analysis, and validation for high-speed connectors and cable assemblies
Develop EMI mitigation strategies for cages, connectors, and cable products supporting 400G/800G and beyond
Perform characterization and compliance testing using advanced tools (VNA, TDR, BERT, EMI chambers)
Collaborate with Signal Integrity and Mechanical Engineering teams to optimize designs for EMI performance
Define EMI requirements and test plans aligned with IEEE, OIF, PCIe, and industry standards
Support customer EMI troubleshooting and provide technical guidance during design-in phases
Participate in industry standards committees and interoperability events
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to EMI best practices across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies
Familiarity with simulation tools (HFSS, CST) and empirical test methods
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
Willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years of experience in EMI design and compliance for high-speed interconnects
Hands-on experience with cages, connectors, and high-speed cable assemblies (DAC, ACC, AEC)
