Principal QMS Applications and Software Program Manager

Responsibilities

Lead onboarding and qualification of new software suppliers
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with software and component suppliers
Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance, and quality assurance
Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct audits of sector-specific software suppliers during onboarding and ongoing monitoring
Manage a portfolio of suppliers aligned with enterprise goals
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure supplier and program success
Harmonize supplier management and monitoring processes across sectors, including ISO 9001, ASPICE, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 certification requirements
Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise-level programs
Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent projects
Collaborate with engineering and global operations teams to support project delivery frameworks and performance standards
Integrate AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and project management
Support enterprise-wide governance models, operating models, and product lifecycle frameworks
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure the timely execution of critical initiatives
Lead development and optimization of engineering processes for software and systems integration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define operational improvement requirements and ensure successful execution
Report program status, risks, and opportunities to the Corporate Quality Management Systems and Operations leadership
Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution across engineering, procurement, and quality functions

Required

MS in Business Operations, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, MBA
10+ years in Business, Project Management, Operations, Strategic Quality Management, or related fields
5+ years' experience in Medical Devices Quality Management Processes and Regulations (FDA 21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485, EU MDR 2017/745, MDSAP-Medical Device Single Audit Program)
Project Management (Agile, Scaled Agile, Waterfall)
Quality Engineering (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13495, ASPICE)
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent in scientific problem-solving and quality tools
Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical devices
Expertise in international supplier management and global sourcing
Strong understanding of supplier management processes and data systems
End-to-end knowledge of product development lifecycle and configuration management
Demonstrated ability to manage programs involving cross-functional teams and influence across the enterprise
Subject matter expertise in program management with a history of managing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry product lifecycle and manufacturing processes

Preferred

PhD in Engineering or a related technical field is desirable
