Content Marketing Lead
GovEagle is a growing company in the GovCon ecosystem, seeking a Senior Content Marketing Lead to define their content strategy and build authority in the market. The role involves owning content creation, establishing thought leadership, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the company's narrative and market presence.

Responsibilities
Own GovEagle’s content strategy – Define editorial direction, publishing cadence, and priority themes across newsletters, blog, video, webinars, etc
Create high-quality content – Write and edit clear, credible content that translates complex GovCon, AI, and product concepts into compelling narratives
Build thought leadership – Establish GovEagle as a trusted voice in the proposal automation and GovCon AI space through original POV and non-generic insights
Launch and run podcasts/webinars – Own positioning, guest selection, episode planning, and production oversight
Own brand voice and narrative – Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and POV across all content surfaces
Partner with SEO vendors – Work with external SEO partners to shape content priorities, translate keyword insights into strong editorial content, and support organic growth without compromising quality
Support go-to-market teams – Create content that strengthens sales conversations, builds credibility with enterprise buyers, and shortens sales cycles
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with founders, product, sales, and customer teams to surface insights and stories worth telling
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience
Exceptional writer and editor with strong editorial judgment and a clear sense of voice
Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal direction and thrive in an early-stage environment
Ability to turn deep, technical subject matter into clear, credible narratives
Experience collaborating with SEO agencies or vendors (without being a technical SEO executor)
Care deeply about consistency, accuracy, and trust—especially with enterprise and regulated buyers
Preferred
5+ years of experience in content, editorial, or thought leadership roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, GovCon, or complex technical domains
GovCon industry experience is a plus
