The incumbent will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot, and conduct basic repairs across various systems including plumbing and electrical, while ensuring a safe and efficient environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities
Adhere to all Hard Rock safety requirements and ongoing training to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and guests
Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service
Responsible for overall maintenance, upkeep and repairs of facility
Will climb ladders to 20+ feet
Responds to maintenance service calls in a timely manner
Performs event setups and teardowns in a safe, timely manner. Moves furniture and equipment as directed. Supports other departmental events as directed
Utilizes the Computer Maintenance Management System to create service requests and document work performed daily. Completes all work orders assigned according to their priority level
Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and ordering parts and materials as needed
Conducts required drills and inspections; maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate
Installs and makes repairs to doors, furniture, office partitions, flooring, and other carpentry related items
Preps and prepares drywall for painting. Paints and stains wall, furniture, and other associated items
Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, kitchen equipment and other operational systems
Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all Illinois Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance job experience
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission
Must successfully pass background check
Must be eighteen (18) years of age
Must have a VALID Driver's License that has not been suspended, denied, or revoked in the past 3 years
No Major Violations while operating a vehicle
Cannot have two (2) or more at fault accidents or three (3) or more moving violations
Drivers of company vehicles must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements/standards listed on the Motor Vehicle Permit Application provided by Hard Rock
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Preferred
Certification in HVAC preferred
Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred
