Responsibilities
Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits for GI and internal medicine concerns
Perform clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests
Provide pre- and post-procedure education and coordinate referrals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with Dr. Arthur Lowy and the care team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualification
Required
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in NYS
Certification is required
Master's Degree in Nursing (NP)
ACLS and BLS certifications
DEA certification (or eligibility)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Preferred
Prior experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine strongly preferred
Experience in primary care or related adult medicine specialties acceptable
