Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret ISO protocols, regulatory updates, and market rule changes through active participation in ISO stakeholder processes
Conduct asset deployment valuation and technical analysis to inform business development and strategic initiatives
Develop white papers and recommendations to support market development efforts
Collaborate with the real-time asset management team to maximize operational revenue from distributed battery fleets

Required

Strong first-principles thinker who favors the simplest effective solution
Deep understanding of power systems operations at both the distribution and wholesale levels, with a passion for further developing domain expertise
Proficient in data analysis techniques with advanced programming skills in Python, Pandas, and SQL
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create clear, compelling data visualizations using tools like Plotly, Matplotlib, or Grafana
Ability to contribute to external communications and technical product engineering initiatives

Preferred

Technical background in power systems or a related field
Experience as an energy manager or in operating grid-scale and behind-the-meter asset portfolios
