Senior, Software Engineer- AI and Machine Learning
Walmart Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to join their team, responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy AI-powered products and services that enhance business growth and customer experiences.

Responsibilities
Design and develop AI/ML models and algorithms to solve complex business problems, leveraging expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to integrate AI/ML models with large-scale data systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance
Develop and maintain AI/ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment
Lead the development of AI-powered products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions that meet business needs
Troubleshoot and debug AI/ML models and algorithms, identifying and resolving issues that impact performance and accuracy
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, applying this knowledge to improve existing solutions and develop new ones
Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists in AI/ML development, sharing expertise and best practices
Collaborate with other teams to integrate AI/ML solutions with existing systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable and performing Web Applications
5+ years of experience programming in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST Services, and related technologies
3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
4+ years of developing high transaction high throughput systems
2+ years of experience integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture
2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and commitment to creating accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
