Senior Prevention Program Manager

Positive Impact Health Centers is a community leader in providing HIV prevention, care and treatment services. The Senior Prevention Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of HIV risk reduction programs while supervising the Prevention Specialists.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight for the assignment of clients to the HIV Prevention Programs, based on service needs and in an in an effort to maintain a balanced workload for the HIV Prevention staff
Provide instruction and supervision to the HIV Prevention Program regarding Federal, State local, and agency standards, procedures and policies. Ensure that Prevention staff are performing day-to-day operations
Assist in coordinating prevention orientation and training with the Director of Prevention
Assist the Director of Prevention with chart audits for compliance to ensure Continuous Quality Improvement
Assist with grant writing and grant report preparation
Assist in identifying new resources for clients and ensure that Prevention staff has access to resource information
Disseminate information to Prevention Staff on trainings, workshops and conferences. Participate in departmental and/or agency meetings as assigned, leading the meeting as needed
Participate in conference calls, reporting duties and other duties related to the Prevention Department
Assist the Director of Prevention to supervise the implementation and evaluation of prevention services ensuring that the process objectives, outcome objectives and quality assurance measures are reached or exceeded
Conducts the performance evaluations of directly supervised staff
Assist the Director of Prevention with preparations for site visits and chart audits by funders
Submit updates regarding the project's meeting of goals and objectives and status of programmatic guidelines to the Director of Prevention as requested
Abide by all state and federal policies regarding confidentiality of patient information. Perform other duties as assigned
Works with the Director of Prevention to create a professional and welcoming working environment for staff and clients
Provide direct services as needed to ensure the smooth operation of Prevention Services
Network with other agencies, funders, and others to promote Positive Impact Health Centers' HIV Prevention services
Participate in monthly agency staff meetings, monthly departmental meetings and occasional health education trainings
Remain current on PrEP, STI and HIV/AIDS issues
Provides evidence-based health care coordination and increased communication between patients and healthcare providers as defined by The Patient – Centered Medical Home (PCMH)

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Health Education or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in health education or public health services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum four (4) years of supervisory or management experience, preferably within a public health, nonprofit, or clinical setting
Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation
In-depth knowledge of HIV prevention, PrEP, STIs, and linkage-to-care best practices
Direct experience working with people living with HIV/AIDS and understanding of priority populations including LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, and underserved groups
Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams (10+ staff), including performance management, coaching, and staff development
Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate long- and short-term goals aligned with organizational objectives and grant deliverables
Demonstrated experience in grant management, including monitoring program deliverables, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders such as community partners, funders, executive leadership, and board members
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
High level of professional integrity, discretion, and accountability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, data collection tools, and reporting software

Preferred

Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field strongly preferred
Certified Health Education Certification (preferred)
