Logistics Specialist

ActioNet, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Specialist to support a Defense unit project in San Diego, California. This role focuses on coordinating logistics efforts, managing equipment deliveries, and contributing to the development of a company-wide Item Unique Identification (IUID) plan.

Responsibilities

Oversee logistics efforts for the ISTC BAN project, ensuring all gear and equipment are properly received, documented, and stored
Collaborate with project leads to develop and implement an IUID plan for company-wide use
Manage the receiving process for procured equipment, ensuring compliance with established standards
Coordinate with team members to track inventory, shipments, and other logistical tasks
Assist in establishing efficient logistics processes that align with project and company objectives
Support efforts to identify and onboard a long-term logistician for continued onsite support

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance is required
Minimum of 5 years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
Experience with logistics software, databases, Microsoft Office products, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management systems
Strong understanding of military or government logistics standards such as MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Preferred

Experience with Item Unique Identification (IUID) processes
Previous experience working on Department of Defense (DOD) projects
Familiarity with receiving and handling technical equipment
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements as they apply to logistics
