VP, Enterprise Architecture - Modernization

Leading modernization strategy and implementation planning for new and emerging technologies
Accountable for the modernization and innovation practice management operating model
Shape enterprise IT strategies for cross-LOB capabilities including modern data platforms
Integration techniques and taxonomy development to ensure future-ready AI lead capabilities and solutions
Establish enterprise asset taxonomies that address holistic views of infrastructure

Define emerging hybrid cloud reference architectures and cloud infrastructure patterns
Plan and manage a talent pool of enterprise and domain architects that works with EA and non-EA related disciplines to deliver AIG's goals

Qualification
Required
Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, system analysis, related field of study, or equivalent experience
10+ years in at least three disciplines across: information, solution or technical architecture, application development, infrastructure, information security or operations in a hybrid environment (i.e., Cloud, on-prem)
Minimum of 10+ years of technology leadership position
Expert knowledge of business ecosystems, Gen AI/ML, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) on hybrid cloud(s), microservices & APIs, event-driven architectures, Open data, DevSecOps, predictive analytics and AI/ML
Expert resource for information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
Able to resolve complex operational problems for multiple teams or functions in collaboration with senior IT Leadership on strategic issues
Ability to recommend innovations and improvements to policies or procedures, adapting plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Experience with managing fiscal responsibilities that require frequent interaction with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust and able to communicate vision effectively with technical teams and business leadership
