Responsibilities

Perform all tasks and functions related to operating and cleaning filling and packaging equipment

Daily operation of multiple high-speed filling and packaging machines in a production setting to include the startup, shutdown, and sanitation of all related equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Work in a safe manner in compliance with Federal, State and company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOP, and administrative policies

Submit work orders and maintain equipment

Consistently meet production efficiencies and targets

Keep accurate logs, paperwork and charts

Complete paperwork as per government regulations and HP Hood requirements

Safely operate all assigned equipment following policies and procedures

Maintain communication with team members, cross functional partners, and other crews

Compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures

Responsible for general plant cleanliness with the expectation of being inspection ready 24/7

Reports all safety concerns/incidents promptly to a Supervisor, Lead or Manager

May be required to assist in facilitation of training for new or existing operators in the qualification process

All other assignments given by Supervision
