The Placement Specialist will input data on insurance applications into carrier websites to obtain quotes and communicate between carriers and agents until accounts are closed or bound.

Responsibilities
Utilize strong interpersonal & communication skills to maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, agents, company representatives, and co-workers
Obtain Acord application, conduct research, analyze facts, prepare necessary documents, and ensure accurate submission of applications to carriers
Promptly send quotes to Agent/Marketing Associate for review
Track, save and reply to emails from Agents/Marketing Associates and Underwriters
Bind coverage upon approval of insured
Accurately save documents and update company system
Represent the company with a positive, ethical, timely and professional attitude over the phone, in writing, and in person at all times
Multi-task in an ever-changing environment, while balancing collaboration with autonomy
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned, at any time with or without notice
Qualification
Required
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Applicable state required Property & Casualty License within one year of hire
Preferred
agency management system experience (Applied EPIC)
