As an Entry Level Staff Engineer in the Geotechnical Team, you will support various infrastructure projects by conducting geotechnical investigations, preparing reports, and assisting in foundation design and construction monitoring.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing scopes of work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer experienced in Geotechnical Engineering

Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate geotechnical investigations such as boring and test pits, and logging soil, water and rock conditions

Prepare subsurface exploration logs and assist in analyzing geotechnical data to determine subsurface conditions and material properties

Prepare geotechnical reports, including design recommendations and analysis

Perform foundation design, slope stability analysis, and settlement calculations

Assist in preparing cost estimates, construction specifications and other project related documents

Support construction monitoring activities, including geotechnical observation and inspections
