Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Lead Billing Specialist to oversee daily billing operations. This role involves ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation while providing leadership to the billing team and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures

Oversee and manage the daily billing workflow, including invoice preparation, charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting

Ensure all billing is accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines

Monitor aging reports and work with staff to resolve denials, discrepancies, and outstanding balances

Review and approve billing adjustments, write-offs, and corrections

Supervise, train, and support billing staff; assign workloads and manage performance

Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities

Ensure staff compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Serve as the point of contact for escalated billing questions and client/payer inquiries

Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting

Required
