Responsibilities

Develop and maintain planning models and tools
Collaborate with pricing, valuation, finance, sales, and other functional areas to develop annual business plan and other projection analysis to help monitor business performance
Extract, analyze and prepare data for use in actuarial analysis
Analyze, interpret, and present numerical data related to pricing and other actuarial analysis
Communicate and collaborate with various departments across the organization to meet business needs
Use data and analysis to provide strategic guidance in influencing management decision making
Anticipate customer needs and take initiative to address business challenges
Determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments and seek guidance when needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field
ASA Certification (required)
Minimum 5 years of hands-on actuarial experience
Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with actuarial tools and systems

Preferred

Individual Annuity or other annuity products experience highly preferred. (i.e. fixed rate multi-year guaranteed deferred annuities, fixed indexed annuities, and immediate annuities)
US Statutory and US GAAP experience preferred
PowerBI, Python, SQL, and GGY AXIS experience preferred
