Responsibilities
Estimating mitigation work relating to fire, flood and other losses occurring to residential or commercial properties
Working in close contact with the insurance company, the adjusters, and the property owner to assure the project is bid accurately and competitively
Building long-term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies to assure that job opportunities are referred for estimating
Interacting with both commercial and residential property owners, insurance adjusters and TPA’s
Working on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to multi-million dollars
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years, hands-on experience estimating both residential and commercial mitigation projects
Strong organizational skills
Team oriented
Ability to communicate with property owners, both residential and commercial
Experience working with both time and material estimating
Preferred
Xactimate software estimating experience
