Responsibilities

Modernize legacy VB.NET 3.5 Web Forms applications to ASP.NET Core
Refactor and replace deprecated APIs to improve maintainability
Document migration steps and provide technical guidance to team members
Design and implement new features based on business requirements and emerging technology trends
Gather and document technical requirements for modernization and enhancements

Qualification

Required

Advanced experience with VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, or Razor
Deep knowledge of .NET Framework (3.5–4.8) and ASP.NET Core
Proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Hands-on experience with Upgrade Assistant, Portability Analyzer, and VB-to-C# converters
Strong SQL Server skills (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSRS)
Familiarity with Git/Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices

Preferred

Experience with large-scale ERP migration projects
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI code converters)
Familiarity with AI-driven migration accelerators and machine learning for code analysis
Understanding of AI-based testing automation and optimization
