Responsibilities

Building, managing, and securing Oracle databases & Exadata Infrastructure (Prod & Non-Prod on Prem and VMs in OCI)

Performing complex issue investigation

Capacity management

Scripting

Seeking automation opportunities

Triage database alerts and issues

Identify root causes

Implement corrective actions

Managing, maintaining, and supporting Non-production, and Production Standby databases

Golden Gate

Mentoring of the team

Facilitating communications with leadership, clients, and peers

Developing standardization, policies, and best practices in-house in alignment with industry standards, cyber requirements, and MAA best practices

Accomplishing through documentation, knowledge transfers, and automation

Willingness to work additional hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Required

6 to 10+ years of experience in Information Technology

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Experience with Oracle databases & Exadata Infrastructure (Prod & Non-Prod on Prem and VMs in OCI)

Experience in performing complex issue investigation and capacity management

Scripting skills and seeking automation opportunities

Ability to triage database alerts and issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

Experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting Non-production and Production Standby databases

Experience with Golden Gate

Mentoring skills for team members

Ability to facilitate communications with leadership, clients, and peers

Experience in developing standardization, policies, and best practices in alignment with industry standards, cyber requirements, and MAA best practices

Ability to document processes and conduct knowledge transfers
