Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology (X-ray) procedures according to established protocols

Maintain consistent imaging quality, proper positioning, and accurate exposure techniques

Communicate with patients using AIDET principles to build rapport and ensure comfort

Prepare exam rooms and position patients correctly for safe and effective imaging

Adhere to all radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique policies

Monitor and maintain imaging equipment; report issues promptly and ensure full operational readiness

Manage documentation including requisitions, patient history, and exam records in PACS and EMR systems

Ensure patient safety through proper screening, pregnancy verification, and shielding practices

Provide timely, accurate, and patient-centered service in a fast-paced environment

Participate in call rotation as needed
