Accent Consulting is a growing IT Consulting & Managed Services Firm looking for a Mid-Level Systems / Network Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems. The role involves supporting and maintaining client servers, networks, and cloud environments while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain client servers, networks, and cloud environments
Troubleshoot escalated systems and network issues
Administer Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Work with firewalls, switches, wireless, and VPNs
Assist with projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
Document configurations and communicate clearly with clients
Partner with service desk and senior engineers to deliver great outcomes

Qualification

Required

3–6 years of systems and/or network engineering experience
Strong Windows Server and Microsoft 365 knowledge
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
MSP or multi-client experience is a plus
Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset

Preferred

Azure experience
Firewall platforms (Fortinet, SonicWall, Meraki, etc.)
Backup & disaster recovery solutions
PowerShell or automation experience
Industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco)
