Blue Shield of California is seeking a Senior Compliance and Ethics Program Specialist to ensure adherence to their Code of Conduct and manage the compliance and ethics program across the enterprise. This role involves implementing compliance policies, training staff, and leading strategic compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to the BSC Code of Conduct and own and coordinate the Company’s compliance and ethics program across the enterprise, including all business units, products, services and activities

Implement and maintain proper preventive, detective and remedial programs and controls

Execute relevant policies and procedures

Train and educate the workforce

Implement an effective communications program

Ensure effective testing, auditing, monitoring, tracking and reporting

Remediate control deficiencies

Drive and lead the department’s strategic priorities and projects, including advancing the compliance training program

Develop and implement compliance policies such as the Conflict of Interest, Gifts and Entertainment, Anti-Corruption, etc

Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance issues, providing guidance and support to various departments within the organization
