Alliant Credit Union is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to lead the user experience design efforts for their digital channels. The role involves conducting user research, shaping the user experience strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative financial solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction for the user experience, aligning design decisions with business goals. Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define and refine the product vision

Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Develop member journey maps to guide design decisions

Define and implement information architecture and design systems for complex digital ecosystems. Contribute to the development and maintenance of established design systems to ensure consistency across products

Create high-fidelity prototypes and design mockups to communicate and test design concepts. Lead the development of interactive and dynamic interfaces that enhance user engagement

Plan and oversee usability testing sessions, interpreting results to inform design improvements. Provide guidance to designers in conducting effective usability testing and iterating designs based on feedback

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide design leadership throughout the product development lifecycle

Guide junior designers, foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture

Contribute to the development of the design team through knowledge-sharing and skill-building initiatives
