Senior Quality Control Manager

International is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Control Manager to lead quality strategy and execution at their San Antonio manufacturing facility. This role involves partnering closely with Operations to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality is embedded at every stage of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to Operations, supporting uninterrupted production and quality built into manufacturing processes
Lead the development and execution of short- and long-term quality strategies aligned with company goals
Track, analyze, and improve quality metrics and performance indicators
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality
Own and maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, corporate, and global standards
Identify and eliminate non-conformities and non-value-added activities
Promote continuous improvement through employee engagement and accountability
Develop and execute cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives
Plan and lead internal, customer, and third-party audits
Evaluate supplier performance and drive supplier quality improvement initiatives
Recruit, develop, and mentor the Quality team, aligning capabilities with current and future business needs

Required

Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of quality control or product manufacturing experience
At least 3 years of lead experience
Master's degree and at least 5 years of quality control or product manufacturing experience
At least 3 years of lead experience
At least 10 years of quality control or product manufacturing experience
At least 3 years of lead experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Preferred

Demonstrated experience leading a quality organization across management and production teams
5+ years of experience working with quality operating systems in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving production and process issues
5+ years of experience managing budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions
3+ years of direct customer interaction and support
3+ years of experience in supplier quality and development
Proven leadership of industrial quality improvement initiatives
Strong expertise in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
Advanced knowledge of quality tools and methodologies including PPAP, APQP, SPC, GR&R, DOE, FMEA, Cpk, and GD&T
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
