Technical Writer

Responsibilities
Analyzing and documenting information to support IT
Developing various documents from technical design to Standard Operating Procedures
Reviewing and editing materials for proper use of terminology, style, direction, content, grammar, punctuation and clarity
Designing layout format
Managing documents through the review, editing, and approval processes
Coordinating document storage in a designated library location
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a technology related field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in technical writing or working in a technology role
Associate degree in technology, business writing, or related fields from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in technical writing or working in a technology role
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to effectively convey information to a varied audience (technical/nontechnical)
Strong time management skills for self and others
Requires strong analysis skills to analyzing information and use logic to address work-related
Ability to work with customers as a member of cross-divisional work groups and maintain positive and productive relationships with customers, peers, and superiors
