Responsibilities

Lead programming and serve prospective students, parents, and families interested in Central Washington University

Manage a comprehensive campus visitation program focusing on recruitment goals

Work with prospective students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff in various capacities related to new student recruitment and outreach

Create and promote a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff

Uphold and contribute to CWU's vision, mission, and values

Required

Bachelor's degree

Proven success with event planning, both large and small

Experience in presenting to small and larger groups in various settings

Experience leading teams to collaborate effectively and deliver results

Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or student employees

Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, presentation software, video conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), emailing, web and social media skills

Experience in collaborative decision making

Experience problem solving and effectively communicating in situations with competing priorities

Demonstrated willingness and/or experience working with students and/or co-workers from a wide range of abilities, backgrounds and experiences

OR applicable combination of training and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position

Preferred

Professional experience working in college admissions or a related service setting

Experience with college visitation programs

Ability to think critically, analyze data, make difficult decisions and solve complex problems

Experience creating a variety of reports, proposals and training documents

Experience working in a high energy, fast paced environment

Ability to incorporate multicultural perspectives and issues into everyday conversations

Experience or interest in mentoring students from a variety of backgrounds

Written and Verbal Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
