Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy API proxies and policies on Apigee Edge/X, including security (OAuth, JWT), traffic management, mediation, and error handling
Implement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and threat protection
Design and develop secure and efficient integration solutions using IBM Datapower, including Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGWs), Web Service Proxies (WSPs), and XML Firewalls
Configure and manage Datapower objects and policies for various integration scenarios
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and RDS
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of APIs and cloud-based solutions
Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure on AWS
Optimize AWS resource utilization for performance and cost efficiency
Collaborate with architects and other development teams to define API strategies and integration patterns
Ensure seamless integration between on-premise systems and cloud applications
Provide technical guidance and support for API and integration initiatives
Create comprehensive technical documentation for API designs, integrations, and deployment procedures
Provide support for production issues and troubleshoot complex integration problems
