Responsibilities

Work in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial
Handle assigned cases with autonomy while accessing the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators
Conduct research and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter
Work collaboratively and cooperatively with paralegals, legal practice assistants and staff
Travel for court appearances, and other proceedings as necessary

Required

Candidates must have two years of litigation experience
Federal clerkship is required
Candidates must possess strong written and oral advocacy skills
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills
Candidates must be licensed in South Carolina
Candidates must be willing to travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary

Preferred

Candidates with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice are preferred
The ideal candidate is both a team player and a self-starter, seeking increasing levels of responsibility
