L2 Support Engineer
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an L2 Support Engineer with significant experience in user support and technical troubleshooting. The role involves managing user tickets, coordinating incident responses, and acquiring knowledge of new applications in the airline industry.

Responsibilities
Proven ability to acquire and develop knowledge of new applications/functions/concepts
Proven Ability to Multi-Task
Proven Ability to manage (Track, Follow Up, Organize, Network) at least 10 Tasks simultaneously
Proven Ability to Anchor, Lead and coordinate a bridge in response to a Sev1/2/3/4/5 Incident
Quickly responds to incident alerts and support calls. Identifies, and coordinates with teams that are critical to the event’s resolution
Self-starter with a willingness to learn and the mental acuity to integrate conceptual knowledge and new learnings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with L2 support – User Tickets, Service Now Ticketing tool
3+ year experience with C++, Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
Proven ability to self-learn other coding and scripting languages to a sufficient level to support the operation, troubleshoot problems and validate fixes
Hands on Experience with ITIL based Operational Support (Incident, problem, Service, Change and Knowledge)
Airline Background
Airline Messaging Background (Type-A, Type-B, HTH, EDIFACT, MQ, Terminal Traffic Inter-connectivity, Synchronous and Asynchronous messaging concepts)
Advanced understanding of IP networking, packet framing, and dynamic routing protocols
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Knowledge in SecureCRT, Dynatrace
Knowledge of SQL
Experience deploying and supporting monitoring and reporting platforms
Knowledge and work on experience in cloud migration (AWS) is a plus
