Responsibilities
Identify and eliminate waste in all aspects of the manufacturing processes
Facilitate and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
Perform line balancing activities to optimize the utilization of our assembly line process
Provide feedback to engineers on how to reduce costs from prerelease design
Review drawings for any obvious errors and assist in tracking the RFT (Right First Time) for prototype components
Participate on behalf of manufacturing to influence design to enhance the manufacturability of applicable designs
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in using 3-D modeling software to identify issues, summarize data, and present information effectively
Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality work on time. Ask questions and seek clarification when needed. Stay organized and on-task
Professional mindset and strong communication skills

Previous internship experience preferred
