Responsibilities

Providing installation support of equipment including engineering modifications and upgrades
Performing equipment/system repair
Performing the assembly, integration, and test of equipment/systems
Accomplishing cabinet level or cable/connector fabrication
Performing daily coordination and communication with IWSS leadership, integrated product teams, as well as other key program stakeholders and customer representatives

Qualification

Test equipment proficiencyTechnical engineering degreeFiber Optic certificationsCompTIA certificationsCopper/solder experienceSystem hardware maintenanceCommunication products familiarityMilitary backgroundPrior international experienceLinux certifications

Required

Proficient in the use of a wide range of test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
Maintaining/upgrading system hardware, startup/shutdown of rack components
Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products
Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates

Preferred

Technical engineering degree and / or military background
Fiber Optic cable experience/certifications
Copper/solder experience/certifications
CompTIA, Cisco, Linux certifications
Prior international assignment experience
