Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to radar science and technology efforts
Lead the development of system architectures and the integration of software and hardware subsystems
Lead and assist in meetings to negotiate solutions across subsystems and disciplines (software, hardware, modeling, and analysis)
Manage and lead systems engineering Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

Required

Experience with systems engineering applied to ground- or air-based radar, communications, or RF systems
BS (STEM) w/ 3+ years of experience
Experience with all aspects of systems engineering, including developing, designing, allocating, and managing user and system-level requirements; calculating measures of performance and measures of effectiveness; leading the development of a system architecture; evaluating design tradeoffs; balancing technical risk between systems; defining and assessing interfaces; and providing oversight of verification and validation activities
Experience in test and evaluation planning
Systems engineering experience with radar/RF software and hardware subsystems
Clearly communicates complex ideas and produces/presents clear, well-organized presentations in relevant terms for audiences at all levels
This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract

Preferred

5+ years of experience in radar and/or other RF system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis
Object-oriented programming knowledge
Experience with Matlab and C++ programming
Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and tools, including DOORS and DoDAF
Experience developing systems architectures/frameworks
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic, and proactive in all manners related to the job
