Responsibilities

Completion of 13 weeks of service with University Internal Medicine during the first year and assumes increased leadership and supervisory responsibilities beginning in the second year
Serve as a role model and mentor to junior residents
Lead clinical teams and function as House Staff Attending for 4 weeks annually
Facilitate communication between residents and faculty, while assisting in conflict resolution
Manage resident schedules, including call and rotation assignments
Oversee time-off requests and shift changes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Support recruitment efforts through interviews and onboarding of new residents and interns
