They are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to support their legal department, primarily focused on contracts while also providing general legal support as needed.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, SOWs, amendments)

Assist with contract management, including revisions, renewals, and issue spotting

Provide general legal support across the department as needed, which may include:

Legal research and analysis

Policy review and drafting

Compliance-related support

Support on internal projects or ad hoc legal matters

Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and other legal team member to prioritize work and meet business needs

Communicate clearly and practically with internal stakeholders

Qualification

Required

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

5+ years of legal experience, with significant experience drafting and negotiating contracts

Comfortable handling a mix of contract-focused work and general legal tasks

Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Practical, business-oriented approach to legal issues

Preferred

Experience working in-house and/or with small or lean legal teams
