Responsibilities
Act as the lead SAP consultant for Asset Management processes throughout the transformation project
Design, configure, optimize, and document SAP FI-AA and related ERP processes to support asset lifecycle activities (acquisition, capitalization, transfer, depreciation, retirement)
Provide expert guidance on SAP asset management best practices, process integration, and system governance
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset master data, valuations, and reporting within SAP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP processes support efficient and compliant asset deployment and tracking
Identify improvement opportunities in current SAP asset processes and recommend optimized solutions
Support testing (SIT/UAT), training, and cutover activities related to asset management in SAP
Prepare management-ready reports and dashboards using SAP tools for asset performance, risks, and status
Ensure alignment with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements through correct SAP configuration and process design
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an SAP Consultant, ideally with a strong focus on SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and related SAP ERP modules
Solid understanding of asset lifecycle processes and their end-to-end representation in SAP
Experience working on large transformation projects, system separations, migrations, or rollouts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Confident English, and Spanish communication skills (spoken and written)
Preferred
Experience in asset-related process design, SAP data migration, and cross-functional integration (FI, CO, PM) is highly desirable
