Financial Analyst (Cost) Level 2 or Level 3

Responsibilities
Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the NSS BU. Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessment
Support monthly and quarterly financial deliveries and analysis
Support development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business and Program Management
Perform ad-hoc exercises for financial impact/profitability analysis
Collaborative work style: ability to interface with different functions and levels of leadership both within and outside of the BU
Operate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail
Qualification
Required
Active DoD TS Clearance and/or SCI Access upon application for both level 2 and level 3
Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics– OR – master's degree with 0 years of experience for level 2
Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) – OR – master's degree with 3 years of experience for level 3
High proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel for both level 2 and level 3
Preferred
Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems financial reporting tools (SAP, Cobra, COGNOS)
Financial analysis and reporting including development of forecast, profitability, and cash flow analysis
Prior experience in the aerospace & defense industry
Analytical; makes recommendations using acquired data and experience
Detail and results oriented; ability to deliver timely and accurate results under time sensitive conditions
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
