Instrumentation and Controls Technician

Responsibilities
Fabricate, install, modify, maintain/repair a wide variety of electrical systems such as: Low voltage AC power systems, DC power systems, PLCs, Raceway and Conduit Systems, Illumination/lighting, Field Instrumentation and wiring, Understanding P & ID and Electrical Drawings, Understanding and working with Digital Multimeters, Breakers, switches, relays, starters, and field devices
Troubleshooting and repair of complex, existing electromechanical systems
Wire crimping and termination
Control System maintenance
Work with devices such as valve limit switches, pressure transducers, valve control loops, vacuum and flow switches, proximity detectors, flame and combustible gas detectors, photocells, thermocouples, transducers, etc
Qualification
Required
Requires comprehension of: NFPA 70 'National Electric Code'
Requires comprehension of: NFPA 70E 'Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace'
Requires comprehension of: OSHA Standards
Requires comprehension of: IEEE Standards
Experience with ISO9001:2000 or AS91000 Quality Systems
Read and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentation
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field
Must be a US Citizen
