Responsibilities

Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines where applicable

Assistance with the deployment and upkeep of the information security department’s digital content around awareness and communications

Aid with compliance monitoring and investigations

Assist with vulnerability assessments for specific applications, services, networks and servers as required

Assist with security applications/tools

Perform compliance audits against institutionally accepted security controls and best practices

Record and track IT security risks and incidents

Evaluate new cybersecurity threats and IT trends from multiple sources and provide awareness for critical vulnerabilities being communicated

Assist security leadership in pulling information security metrics for reporting

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in progress or recently attained with an educational emphasis in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline

Minimum of 1 year of college experience

Locally based in Cincinnati, OH and willing to work in the office at least 3 days/week

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Ability to follow through and respond to requests with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must demonstrate a passion for all things cybersecurity
