Responsibilities

Define and steward the creative vision for key client groups, ensuring work is culturally resonant, strategically grounded, and globally impactful
Lead integrated creative direction across diverse campaign types—including content, film, creator-led, experiential, and digital initiatives
Serve as the senior creative leader on high-value engagements, owning end-to-end creative quality and stepping in hands-on when needed for complex or high-stakes work
Provide clear, compelling POVs that elevate ideas and guide teams toward breakthrough creative platforms
Act as an internal catalyst for ambitious, high-bar creative—defining what “great” looks like and inspiring teams to achieve it
Partner closely with strategy to unlock insights, shape creative platforms, and ensure ideas are anchored in strong strategic foundations
Identify emerging cultural trends, technologies, and storytelling mediums to keep the creative practice ahead of the curve
Inspire, mentor, and grow creative leaders and teams across disciplines, fostering a high-performing, connected creative practice
Build an inclusive, collaborative culture where diverse perspectives strengthen the work and shared learning elevates craft excellence
Orchestrate cross-disciplinary creative collaboration - ensuring creative, design, studio, and production teams operate as a unified, aligned force
Guide teams in developing and presenting creative work with clarity, confidence, and strategic grounding
Provide clear, empathetic coaching that supports career development, strengthens performance, and builds long-term creative capability
Bring stability and leadership during moments of transition, ensuring continuity of vision, morale, and creative momentum
Partner with Talent Acquisition and craft leaders to identify, hire, and retain exceptional creative talent aligned with DEPT®’s needs
Anticipate emerging skills, trends, and developmental needs—coaching teams to remain adaptable and future-ready
Help articulate and operationalize the creative vision for the craft and the company, translating it into scalable systems and practices
Champion creative quality and consistency across complex, multi-market initiatives—ensuring work is executed with clarity, craft excellence, and cultural acuity
Partner across design, content, motion, and production to bring ideas from concept through execution, maintaining creative integrity throughout the process
Resolve creative challenges and remove blockers early, protecting the ambition and momentum of the work
Strengthen creative workflows, systems, and quality standards that support scalable, future-ready craft across teams and disciplines
Integrate strategic insights, performance learnings, and cultural signals into evolving creative direction to drive continual improvement
Explore and apply emerging creative trends and technologies—including AI and automation—when they meaningfully enhance innovation, craft, or efficiency

Qualification

Required

12+ years of experience in creative, design, or digital environments, including leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
Proven success in building teams, managing performance, and mentoring across levels and specialties
Strong operational and commercial acumen with the ability to balance creative excellence and business performance
Ability to bring strategic vision and creative inspiration to foster a cohesive and motivated team from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas professionally and effectively to all levels of stakeholders
