Responsibilities

Oversee operation of capital machinery, specializing in machine tool systems (milling, boring, turning, hobbing, grinding)
Optimize performance of equipment by implementing new capability (development of solutions to increase throughput and reduce cycle times using new tooling components/systems; programming techniques, control systems upgrades)
Troubleshoot machine failures to minimize downtime, while collaborating with machine maintenance and equipment OEMs
Supports new capital procurement and the designs and arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions

Required

Bachelor's in a related STEM discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree in a related STEM discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment as a process owner (process, equipment, documentation, special training)
Hands on experience machining and troubleshooting of machines or being in a machine shop environment
Experience with machine tool equipment and control systems (large CNC mills, lathes, hobbers and grinders)
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
US citizenship required
