The Pit-Crew Set-Up role supports all aspects of flexo press set-ups to minimize press downtime and maximize productivity, working closely with Press Operators, Prepress, and Production to ensure efficient and accurate machine make-ready.

Responsibilities
Ensure all required tooling, plates, cylinders, materials, dies, and accessories are staged on the set-up cart prior to press make-ready
Mount printing plates as required per job specifications
Organize and maintain the kitting area to support efficient set-up preparation
Perform machine make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, materials, laminations, dies, scoring equipment, and related components in accordance with standard work procedures
Assist Press Operators with the set-up and adjustment of auxiliary equipment
Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to the designated preproduction areas after set-up completion
Assist in other departments or production areas as needed
Work collaboratively with Prepress and Production team members to support customer satisfaction, cost control, and on-time performance
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year of related experience and training
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Previous experience in a printing environment
