Intern Electrical Controls Engineering Spring 2026 (Integration Solutions)

As an Electrical Controls Engineering Intern, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Controls Engineering department.

Responsibilities
Working knowledge of NFPA 70, National Electric Code, and NFPA 79, Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery
Ability to troubleshoot electrical control circuits
Proficient with AutoCAD, Electrical
Competent communicator with a wide array of cross functional staff in both office and manufacturing settings
General working knowledge of PLC, HMI, and PC based control hardware and software
Able to maintain positive and professional relationships with all cross functional team members
Qualification
Required

Proficient with a 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
Proficient with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD, Electrical
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proficient with RS 5000
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders & community leaders
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to be a strategic thinker
Ability to work as a team and independently
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, high pressure environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization & employees
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system
Excellent reading and writing skills in the English language
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Successful completion of 60-day probationary period
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Pursuing bachelor's or associate degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
