Responsibilities

Examination: Oral Exam (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose appraising the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position
The Human Resources Division may solely conduct an appraisal of application materials should there be an insufficient number of candidates to warrant an oral examination
Should an appraisal be necessary, the appraisal will be weighted at 100%
Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Four years of progressively responsible information systems experience. Qualifying experience must have been within the last eight (8) years
Equivalent combination of education or experience
Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required upon appointment

Preferred

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Certification in project management or IT infrastructure library (ITIL)
A green belt or higher designation in the Lean Six Sigma discipline
