Responsibilities

3D modeling of piping systems and equipment in a 3D model environment
Prepare drawings/documents for plot plans/general arrangements and piping isometrics drawings
Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e., input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines
Assist with plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents
Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc
Perform coordination review of specifications and vendor documents as required
Ensure adherence to piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1

Required

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Must be authorized to live and work in the US without sponsorship
Hands-on experience using a 3D piping design platform such E3D/PDMS, SmartPlant, PlantSpace, etc
Hands-on experience using a 3D isometric extraction program
Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes

Preferred

Prior nuclear piping and layout experience
Previous Bechtel Engineering project experience
