Required

BA Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience

Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

Must have a background in medical devices and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and/or software

3-5 years' experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a law firm or corporation

Must have previous experience in managing patent portfolios, either as in-house or law firm patent counsel

Preferred

JD with 5+ years of relevant experience

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background

Must be able to draft patent applications in coordination with inventors

Some experience with intellectual property due diligence and product clearance

Experience as a Patent Examiner and/or patent searcher

Some experience managing a trademark portfolio
