Responsibilities
Implement business requirements in SQL Server using T-SQL programming
Develop, test, and maintain stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers in SQL Server
Design efficient data models to enhance existing database schemas
Analyze query performance, create indexes and rewrite queries to improve execution times by 30% or more
Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, Talend, or custom scripts to ingest data from diverse sources
Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
Perform Data Analysis, Data Pulls, create Data sources for BI Tools, based on Business requirements
Optimize database performance, enforce data quality, and uphold governance standards
Monitoring and Supporting Data Pipeline Jobs through Visual Cron/ SQL Server Agent
Automating data processing tasks and workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Or equivalent work experience with desired systems and technologies
Minimum 3 years of experience in T-SQL Programming
Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one dialect (T-SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL)
Ability to develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
Experience optimizing queries and creating indexes to improve execution times
Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools (SSIS, Talend, custom scripting)
