Head of Commercial
Lighten is a company that builds AI-native software platforms to transform clinical data into quality patient journeys. They are seeking a Head of Commercial to build and lead their commercial function, acting as the primary salesperson and strategist while developing the go-to-market strategy and sales processes.

Responsibilities
Be the entire sales team. You will personally own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing our foundational customers
Build on and extend the existing GTM-strategy. You'll partner directly with the founder to develop and execute our initial go-to-market strategy, defining our pricing, positioning, and target segments
Create the sales playbook. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the first scalable sales processes, systems, and best practices for the company
Be the voice of the customer. You'll collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to provide direct market feedback, ensuring our product roadmap is aligned with customer needs
Lay the foundation for a team. While your initial focus is on execution, you will be responsible for creating the strategy to build and lead a high-velocity sales team over time
Qualification
Required
Proven track record selling into pharmas, biotechs and real world data companies, with a history of exceeding targets
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing sales teams
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to orchestrate large-value transactions with C-level customer executives
