Responsibilities
Responsibility for end-to-end monthly reporting for the US business, including meetings with Accounts managers to determine revenue, allocation and calculation of costs, posting of Payroll and Inter-company recharges and entry into BFC
Dealing with queries/commentary resulting from month end from both the Goat Global Finance team and the GroupM US finance team
Production and communication to the relevant individuals within the US business of reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of reporting (including Accrued/Deferred Revenue, Campaign Costs, Inter-company)
Escalation point for queries relating to US Accounts Payable (influencer and supplier payment) and Accounts Receivable (including invoicing/billing issues and debt chasing escalation)
Provide support to the WPP Tax team in the calculation of Federal and State income taxes, along with supporting on any other US tax compliance activities (i.e W8/9s for 1099 filings, Sales and Use tax requirements/filings, Transfer Pricing etc)
Support the Goat Global Finance team with regular forecasting/FP&A activities relating to the US Business as required
Supporting both the Goat Global Finance team and the Goat US business with ad-hoc queries and requests where required
Line management of junior accountant
Qualification
Required
Qualified Accountant, CPA professional certification
Experience with producing and running the month end reporting process (including entry of data into BFC)
Capable of balancing autonomous working with a level of oversight in the US and consultation with the UK based Global Finance team
Ability to partner across the US Goat business and the wider GroupM US finance team to become the go-to for US finance Queries
An aptitude for detail and problem solving to support the acceleration of growth in the US Business
