Responsibilities

Work on assignments/projects to stretch your learning and skill set

Report progress and status

Use your academic knowledge to complete assigned project(s), deliver positive outcome, and contribute to the success of our team

Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas

Experience technically challenging assignments in the power generation

Join us in these exciting roles of managing processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction

Assess, pinpoint and actively implement improvements

Work with cross-functional teams that focus on improving the quality of production areas

Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies in driving improvement through the production area

Required

Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below

Following majors accepted: Engineering, and other Energy related majors will be considered

Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)

Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship

Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.

Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
