Sales Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS | Middle East
GOTION HIGH-TECH is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business for their Battery Energy Storage Systems in the Middle East. The role involves identifying new opportunities and managing sales engagements with utilities and developers, while closely collaborating with technical and operations teams in China.
Responsibilities
Drive and support sales of grid-scale BESS solutions to utilities, project developers, renewables, C&I, and EPCs
Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract closing
Identify new project opportunities and engage with regional market stakeholders
Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and product teams to support proposals
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor landscape
Represent Gotion at selected industry events and meetings
Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, customer feedback, and deal progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Energy-related discipline
At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in energy storage, renewables, EPC, or industrial power solutions
Experience in selling into European markets
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across cultures
English, knowledge of a European language is a plus
Willingness to travel as needed
